If approved, the development will consist of a proposed camping facility with "four glamping pods, motorhome parking spaces, tent pitching area, a utility building to include shower, toilet and kitchen facilities."
The plans also allow for "a plant room, a bored well, a secondary treatment system and soil polishing filter, upgrading of existing entrance and construction of a proposed new entrance and all associated site works."
The application was received by planners at Carlow County Council this week and is at the pre-validation stage. A decision is expected on the plans in mid-July.
