Property prices in Carlow have climbed by almost €10,000 in the past year, according to the latest MyHome.ie Property Price Report.
The report shows that the median asking price for a home in Carlow now stands at €264,500, marking a rise of €9,500 over the past 12 months and €14,500 in just the last quarter alone.
Three-bed semi-detached homes have seen the biggest jump, rising by €31,250 in a year to €265,000, including a €10,000 increase in the last three months alone.

Four-bed semi-detached homes are also on the rise, now averaging €280,000, up €11,050 annually and €5,000 since the previous quarter.
There were just 112 properties for sale across the county at the end of Q3 2025 - a drop of 11% on the quarter - while the typical home now takes about two and a half months to go sale agreed.
Nationally, house price inflation is easing slightly but remains stubbornly high, according to report author Conall MacCoille, Chief Economist at Bank of Ireland.
"The market is still extremely difficult; there are currently just 13,000 properties listed for sale on MyHome.ie, flat on the year and still down from pre-pandemic levels," he said.
He added that affordability remains stretched, with the average home sold this year costing eight times the average annual income of €53,000.

"Such is the level of competition among homebuyers that the typical property in September was sold 8% above the original asking price, a fresh high," Mr MacCoille said.
Despite the challenges, he pointed to a "silver lining" in rising housing completions, which have reached 32,700 in the past year, the highest level since the Celtic Tiger era.
Joanne Geary, Managing Director of MyHome.ie, said it was encouraging to see signs of increased homebuilding but warned progress would take time.
"Significant improvements in supply are likely to be evident only over the medium to long term, so maintaining momentum remains critical," she said.
