This is worrying
The Springfield Park, Burrin Road Facebook page has posted images online of what it claims are needles that have been discarded in the area.
In a post on Facebook, they said: "Hi all, it has come to our attention that needles are being discarded in the area.
"We have done a walk around and have picked up a number of needles down where the walkway meets the road and up under the railway bridge. Please advise your children not to pick up or touch anything they find and to tell an adult. Stay safe guys."
