A total of 600 people are in receipt of one-parent family payments in Carlow, new figures have revealed.

Fianna Fáil's Willie O'Dea asked the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection for the number of persons in receipt of the one-parent family payment by county.
Minister Regina Dogerty provided figures on the number of one-parent family payments at the end of February 2019 and this showed that there were 600 in Carlow.
