The Carlow senior footballers come up against Wicklow in round one of the Leinster Football Championship on Sunday, April 9.
Carlow, who drew with the Garden County in their opening league encounter at the start of the year, finished in sixth place on the Division 4 standings while their neighbours achieved promotion to Division 3 thanks to their second place finish.
Oisín McConville's men were ultimately defeated by Sligo in the Division 4 league final in Croke Park.
The Leinster Championship fixture will be played in Aughrim with throw-in at 2.30pm this Sunday.
