The Tea Rooms at Duckett's Grove 'delighted' to win silver as Food Service Operator of the Year

Staff at The Tea Rooms at Duckett's Grove are 'delighted' to win silver as Food Service Operator of the Year after pipping well-known cafe The Happy Pear at this year’s Food and Drink Business Awards.

In a post on Facebook, they said: "Congratulations to Chopped on first place. We are delighted to win the silver as Food Service Operator of the Year, especially in such hallowed company."

Cllr Andrea Dalton said: "Well done Madeleine Forrest. Delighted to see all your hard work rewarded! Even sweeter against such tough opposition as the Happy Pear!"
