Widespread showers can be expected this morning (May 11) with possible spot flooding and thunderstorms.
That's according to Met Éireann, which also forecasts drier and sunnier intervals in the northwest this afternoon with frequent showers persisting elsewhere.
Showers will gradually become isolated by late evening with highest temperatures of 13 to 16 degrees.
Any remaining isolated showers will die out early tonight leaving dry conditions with long clear spells.
Patches of mist and fog will develop in light northerly or variable breezes with lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees.
