Carlow Weather: Rain will be persistent and heavy with yellow rain warning in place
Rain will be persistent today, and heavy at times possibly leading to localised flooding, according to Met Éireann.
A yellow rain warning is in place until Friday evening at 6pm, persistent and sometimes heavy rain may lead to localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
Highest temperatures 12 or 13 degrees with light to moderate northeast breezes, fresher at times near the southeast coast.
On Friday night, rain will gradually ease, with clear spells developing.
Lowest temperatures of 8 or 9 degrees in light to moderate northerly winds.

Saturday 16th September will become mostly dry, although rain and drizzle may linger in southeastern parts.
Bright or sunny spells elsewhere.
Highest temperatures of 15 or 16 degrees, with freshening northeasterly breezes.
