Thursday will be cool and breezy with sunny spells and scattered blustery shower, according to Met Éireann. Some will be heavy and prolonged and may cause spot flooding. Hail and thunder are possible too.

Moderate to fresh and gusty south to southwest winds will veer southwest to west and ease in most areas later.

Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees.

On Thursday night there will be frequent showers, with hail and thunder possible. Some showers will be heavy and prolonged and may cause spot flooding. It will become drier later in the night as showers become isolated and some mist and fog may form.

Light to moderate westerly winds, becoming moderate to fresh northerly later.

Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees.

Friday 10th November will bring plenty of sunshine and just passing showers.

Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees with light to moderate west to northwest winds, occasionally increasing fresh and gusty.

Friday night will be mostly dry and clear although isolated showers are possible near north-facing coasts. Mist and fog will form as winds ease light and variable.

Cold with frost, as temperatures drop to between -1 and +3 degrees.
