Friday will be blustery with frequent showers, especially this morning.

According to Met Éireann, the showers will become increasingly confined to the northern half of the province during the afternoon with drier and brighter conditions developing further south.

Maximum temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in fresh and gusty southwest winds.

Showers will tend to ease overnight Friday with some clear spells developing. However, a spell of rain will spread from the southwest later in the night, turning heavy in places.

Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in moderate southerly winds.
