Temperatures remain cold this week with lows of -3 degrees
On Tuesday morning, frost and ice will gradually clear, according to Met Éireann.
It will be cold and mainly dry with bright or sunny spells, the best of these over the western half of the region.
A few light showers are possible in eastern coastal counties.
Highest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees in a moderate easterly breezes.
Tuesday night will be cold with lowest temperatures ranging from -3 to +2 degrees.
There will be frost and icy patches in many areas and some patches of mist and fog.
