Local Carlow weather forecaster watching for potential storm on the horizon
Local Carlow weather forecaster, Alan O'Reily just keeping an eye on weather models that are showing some risk of potentially stormy weather.
He had this to say on social media: " Weather models showing risk of a low system Monday night into Tuesday, nothing too severe but risk of some strong winds. Hopefully once that moves on we will see less rain for a few days for rest of next week. Farmers badly need some drying weather with land saturated."
Met Éireann forecasts showing similar theories as CarlowWeather concurring with the strong winds Monday evening, moving into Tuesday morning and throughout the day.
For now looking at Met Éireann, looking dry with some isolated spells of rain potentially on Monday night moving into Tuesday morning.
With Met Éireann charts showing calm weather up to Thursday and then back to what seems to be quite heavy wind and rain for the day.
