Carlow weather man gives weather update before the weekend
Carlow weatherman, Alan O'Reily provides weather update this Friday morning. And the predictions look better than we have had in the previous days.
His weather update reads: "A fine looking morning in all directions from Carlow with some good spells ahead but also scattered showers and some will be heavy with a small risk of hail and thunder. Feeling fresher too."
When comparing that to the Met Éireann forecast: "Fresh and breezy today with sunshine and passing showers. It will be dry for much of the morning but showers will spread from the west during the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 10 degrees."
For Friday evening: "Cold and blustery overnight with a mix of clear spells and showers, some of the showers will be heavy with hail. Some wintry falls are possible on high ground. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 4 degrees in fresh to strong westerly winds. A touch of frost is likely in some sheltered spots."
After an iffy week of weather, this update seems to show that we are going in the right direction and might be able to look forward to some decent weather in the near future.
