Carlow Weather man and Met Éireann have provided Carlow weather updates following a glorious weekend in Carlow.

According to Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reily on X : "Some good clear spells tonight and down to 2c or 3c but more cloud for Monday with chance of a few showers in North and East but should be small and clear quickly enough. Better sunny spells on Tuesday and not much rain expected up to Thursday or even Friday for most areas."

"Mainly settled up until Thursday when a band of showers is likely to move into West but amounts generally low. Weekend still uncertain but low system looks to be trending South for Saturday but could move back up near us Sunday. Big differences on rainfall on two main models."

Then looking at Met Éireann's weather updates: "Today will be largely dry across Leinster. Some sunny spells at first. However, cloud will extend southwestwards over the region this morning and it will continue mostly cloudy this afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees with moderate northerly breezes."

Met Éireann have also provided a forecast for the evening: "Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a little patchy drizzle and mist possible. Clearer conditions will extend from the northeast overnight. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees with light north to northwest breezes."
