Carlow Weather and Met Éireann have provided their forecast for the day
Carlow Weather and Met Éireann have provided their weather forecasts for Carlow and surrounding areas for the day.
Firstly looking to Carlow Weather on X: "We have showers tonight and tomorrow and also at weekend but we are lucky that most of the heavy rain next few days is staying over in England and Wales."
"Showers persisting for some areas tonight and some scattered showers tomorrow but bright spells in the West too. Turning breezy and little cooler than recent days. Not much rain expected a Thursday or Friday but more cloud."
Looking then to Met Éireann: "Wednesday will bring a mix of cloud and some sunny spells. While there will be a lot of dry weather, scattered showers will occur with the odd heavy one possible in the afternoon. A little fresher than recent days in rather brisk northwest winds. Highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees with best values further south."
Also for this evening: "Tonight will be dry and cloudy with just isolated showers. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh northwest winds."
An early look for tomorrow: "
Similarly, Thursday will be dry but cloudy day overall. Cool for the time of year with highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, best values across southern fringes, all in moderate to fresh northwesterly winds."
