WEATHER: 'Good sunny spells developing' Carlow daily weather updates

Met Éireann and Carlow Weather have provided weather forecasts for Carlow and surrounding areas for the day.

Firstly, Carlow Weather on X: " Cloudy start for many with some light patchy showers but good sunny spells developing through the day and scattered showers also. Up to 18c but feeling fresher in Northwest breeze."

Taking a look then to Met Éierann's forecast: "A little cloudy this morning with a few isolated showers but they will quickly die out with sunny spells developing this afternoon. Staying mostly dry until this evening with perhaps the odd isolated shower. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees in a northwesterly breeze."

This evening: "Cloudy periods and just a few isolated showers this evening and tonight. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees and a northerly breeze."

An early look at tomorrow's prediction: "Cloudy with isolated showers but by late morning the showers will die out letting some sunny spells break through. Staying dry through to the evening with highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees in a northerly breeze."
