'Showers die out and sunny spells break through' Carlow weather forecast for the day

With the bank holiday weekend fast approaching, Met Éireann and Carlow Weather have provided their weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas for the day.

Firstly looking at Met Éireann: "Cloudy and breezy to start this morning with scattered showers. It will brighten up through the afternoon as the showers die out and sunny spells break through. Highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees, warmest in the southeast, with moderate northwest winds easing later on."

Tonight: "Staying mainly dry with a mix of clear spells and some scattered cloud. Longer clear spells will persist overnight as winds fall light. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees."

An early look to tomorrow: "A fine day of settled and mainly dry weather with good long spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees in light northerly breezes."

Then taking a look at Carlow Weather on X: "Feeling cool this morning with mix of bright spells and showers moving Southeast in strong Northwest wind. Sunny spells developing through the day and wind easing this evening as high pressure moves in for a fine spell."

"Very breezy tomorrow and feeling fresh in that Northerly breeze but feeling milder from Friday and first day of summer looking good, warmest in South and East."
