Highest temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees
Carlow Weather and Met Éireann have provided their weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas for the day.
Carlow Weather on X: "Sun rising over a mild morning with another warm day ahead. Sunny spells will develop and getting up to 23c or 24c."
"Warmer air hangs on until Wednesday night but then some of those blue smarties come back towards Ireland as cooler air moves back towards us. Warm today & tonight, up to 21c Tuesday and maybe 23c or higher Wednesday. Back below 20c from Thursday."
Met Éireann's prediction for the day: "Today will be a warm and dry day with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees in light to moderate southwest winds."
This evening's weather forecast: "Tonight will be mainly dry with clear spells. Becoming cloudier later in the night with scattered patches of rain and drizzle. A few mist and fog patches too. A mild, humid night with temperatures not falling below 12 to 15 degrees in a light breeze."
Early look at tomorrow's weather forecast: "Tomorrow will be a generally cloudy day with a few outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees, in a light northerly breeze."
