Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees
Met Éireann have provided their weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas for the day.
Firstly the daily forecast provided by Met Éireann : "A dry start today with occasional sunny spells but becoming largely cloudy through the morning with limited bright intervals. Patchy rain and drizzle will develop this afternoon. Highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees in light to moderate southwest to west winds."
For this evening: "Overcast tonight with more persistent outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading from the west overnight. Some mist and hill and coastal fog will form also. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in light to moderate southwest winds."
Early look at the weather for tomorrow: "Dull and damp to start tomorrow with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The rain will clear into the Irish Sea through the late morning and early afternoon, followed by scattered showers and sunny spells for the rest of the day. Becoming breezier with light to moderate southwesterly winds increasing moderate to fresh westerly by afternoon. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees."
The national outlook: "Quite unsettled this week with rain and showers spreading from the Atlantic and limited dry intervals. Cool for the time of the year."
