Highest temperatures of 15 to 18
Carlow Weather and Met Éireann have provided their weather forecasts for County Carlow and surrounding areas for the next few days.
Firstly looking to Carlow Weather on X: "The outlook is better but not great. Rainfall amounts are lower for next 7 days but still showers and with good bit of cloud, sunshine mainly sunny spells. Temperatures increasing a little but still below normal for this time of year. Yes you’d be sick of it…"
"Sunny spells very slowly extending to more areas but continues to be wet and dull in the East and North. The Southwest and West has all the sunshine for now."
Met Éireann have also provided their weather forecast for next few days:
Firstly today's weather: "A cloudy and rather overcast start this morning with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Some drier and perhaps sunnier spells across will develop later this afternoon. Feeling a little cool too with highest temperatures of 15 to 18 in a northerly breeze."
Thursday's weather: "Another mostly cloudy day with limited sunny spells but it should be largely dry. A cool northerly breeze and highs of 15 to 18 degrees."
A national outlook for tomorrow evening: "A mix of cloud and clear spells overnight, it will be a largely dry night but a little patchy drizzle is possible mainly in parts of the west and north. Lowest temperatures generally between 9 and 11 degrees. Northerly breezes will be mostly light in strength."
With an early look at Friday: "A mix of bright or sunny periods are expected to occur on Friday along with a few scattered mostly light showers. The showers will be isolated at first but will become a little more frequent during the afternoon. Highest temperatures will generally range between 16 and 18 or 19 degrees Celsius. It will be warmest in the south of the country and coolest in the north. North or northwest breezes will be mostly light or moderate in strength."
