WEATHER: 'Mix of cloud and sunshine' Carlow Weather forecast for the day

Met Éireann have provided their weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas for the day.

Firstly looking to Met Éireann for today: "Warm and humid today with a mix of cloud and spells of sunshine. It will hold largely dry but there is the chance of an isolated shower. Highest temperatures of 21 to 24 degrees with mostly light winds, but breezier at the coast."

This evening: "Mostly dry overnight with clear spells but cloud will thicken from the west by morning bringing the odd light shower. A humid night with lowest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds."

Tomorrow: "Generally cloudy on Friday morning with showery rain and the chance of some brighter or sunny intervals. Persistent rain will spread from the west during the afternoon, clearing into the Irish Sea by late evening. Highest temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees in fresh southerly winds."

Friday night: " Largely dry on Friday night with long clear spells and just a few showers in western and northwestern coastal areas. Cooler than preceding nights with lowest temperatures generally of 8 to 11 degrees in moderate southwest breezes."
