WEATHER: 'Sunnier Spells devloping later' Met Éireann daily weather forecast

Highs of 19 to 21 degrees.

Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas.

Firstly looking to Met Éireann for today: "Rather cloudy and wet this morning with overcast skies and outbreaks of rain and drizzle. The rain will gradually drift away to the east with some clear, drier and sunnier spells developing later this afternoon. Southwesterly winds will turn westerly with highs of 19 to 21 degrees."

This evening: "Largely dry this evening with long clear spells and a weakening westerly breeze. Lows of 8 to 11 degrees.

Tomorrow: "A mix of cloudy period and sunny spells and staying mostly dry too. A moderate westerly breeze will persist with highs of 19 to 21 degrees."

Friday Night: "Dry for much of the country with a mix of cloud and clear spells. However, there will be some light showers, mainly for the northwest and west. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly breezes, fresher at first in the northwest."

Saturday: "Becoming cloudier through the morning as scattered light showers extend over much of the country. Driest in the east and south for the afternoon with the best of any sunny spells. Better sunny spells will develop for the evening with just isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees in mostly moderate southwest to west winds, coolest in the northwest where winds will turn a bit fresher later in the afternoon."
