Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees
Carlow weather and Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas, with unfortunately some rain starting the day out.
Firstly looking to Carlow Weather on X:
"A windy night ahead a wet start to Tuesday for some as narrow band of heavy showers moves South down the country but sunny spells following behind. Over 10mm of rain possible in parts of North over next 24 hours.
Turning cooler with much cooler air over us Wednesday and Thursday but also some good sunny spells with showers mainly in Northern areas."
Then looking to Met Éireann for today:
"This morning will start off cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain or drizzle. This will gradually clear southwards through the morning and afternoon and will be followed by sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 14 to 16 degrees with a moderate to fresh and gusty west to northwest wind."
Tonight:
"Tonight will be largely dry with clear spells, although isolated showers are possible. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in a moderate west to northwest wind."
Tomorrow:
"Tomorrow will be cool and breezy with sunny spells and scattered showers. Some of the showers will be heavy and there is a slight chance of hail and thunder. Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in a moderate to fresh and gusty northwesterly wind."
