Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas.
With a sunny dry start to the day as cold, wet weather shift creeps back in during the night.

Firstly looking at Met Éireann for today:
"Mainly dry and sunny this morning. However, a few isolated showers will move into southern coastal parts this afternoon, turning heavier and more persistent towards evening. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in just light variable breezes."
This evening:
"Showery rain will continue tonight away from the north where it will remain mostly dry with areas of frost and patches of mist and fog developing. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees in mostly light variable breezes."
Tomorrow:
"Some showers along the east coast at first tomorrow, otherwise it will be a largely dry day with some spells of sunshine. A chilly day with highest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees in mostly light northerly or variable breezes."
Tomorrow evening:
"Cold and dry Wednesday night with frost and icy patches developing. Mist and fog will form in light winds early on before winds freshen in the west through the night. Cloud and rain developing in the southwest towards morning. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees."
