WEATHER: 'Outbreaks of rain and drizzle moving' Wet weather set to move into Carlow

Highest afternoon temperatures will range from 7 to 11 degrees

Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas.

With the cold weather easing off slight but bringing wetter weather to the County as a whole.

Firstly looking to Met Éireann for today: 

"Cloud will build quickly from the south this morning with outbreaks of rain and drizzle moving in. The rain will be accompanied by fresh to strong and gusty southeast winds. The rain will turn generally light and patchy in the evening with plenty of dry weather. Highest afternoon temperatures will range from 7 to 11 degrees."

Tonight:

"Breezy and mild tonight with just a few patches of rain or drizzle. A mild night with lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in fresh and gusty southerly winds."

Tomorrow:

"Breezy on Friday with patchy drizzle and mist around in the morning. More persistent rain will spread from the southwest during the late morning and through the afternoon. Clear spells and scattered showers will follow from the southwest during the evening. Highest temperatures of 11 to 14 degrees in fresh and gusty southerly winds."

Friday Night: 

"There will be some clear spells around at first on Friday night but it will become mostly cloudy later with areas of mist and drizzle spreading from the south later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds."
