Met Éireann have issued another Orange Warning for County Carlow as cold weather continues
Met Éireann issued another orange weather warning for County Carlow and surrounding areas as the cold snap across the country continues to rage on.
The new orange warning issued to Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Meath, Offally, Westmeath, Cavan, Monaghan, Glaway, Roscommon, and Tipperary was issued at 9.49 on Thursday the 9th of January 2025 and is valid from Thursday the 9th of January from 19:00 to 8:00 Friday the 10th of January 2025.
The warning reads:
Extremely cold with widespread severe frost, ice and lying snow.
Impacts:
• Dangerous travelling conditions on roads and underfoot
• Travel disruption and delays
• Animal welfare issues
