Carlow SETU set to hold Sustainability in the Arts Festival on April 10th and 11th
Carlow South East Technical University is set to hold the Sustainability in the Arts Festival on April 10th and 11th.
The festival involves multidisciplinary collaborations with undergraduate and postgraduate students from the areas of music, visual art, graphic design, culinary arts, languages, and internationalisation, coming together to showcase their unique perspectives on how the Sustainable Development Goals apply to them.
The events on the Carlow Campus area as follows:
Wednesday the 10th:
Launch with artist Karen Hendy at 12.00 at the library entrance
Documentary screening: 'Desert fire: the world cup rebels of Kurdistan 13.00- A102
Thursday the 11th:
Sustainability and gaming talks: 11.00 - Bold Donut in L117 and 13.00 - Anzal Baig in L115
Documentary screening: 'Ghosts of Moira' 13.00 - A102
And art exhibitions to be held across both days by Siobhan Jordan.
