The smash-hit show “Reeling In the Showband Years” has been a massive favourite across the country for the past 13 years, and we’re thrilled to announce its return to VISUAL Carlow on Thursday, 6th March 2025, celebrating its record-busting 14th year of touring and packing theatres across Ireland.
And what a line-up we’ve got for 2025!
Ronan Collins – RTE’s very own Mr. Music is back as your host and compere, bringing his famous tributes to Joe Dolan, Eurovision classics, Dickie Rock, and more. Ronan’s been at the heart of Irish music for decades, from his RTE show to singing live with the greats.
Gina from The Champions – A true superstar of the Showband era, Gina led The Champions to the top with hits like “Minnie Minnie” and “You’re the Greatest Lover.” Still sounding as incredible as ever, Gina will have you singing along to all the classics.
Keith and Lorraine McDonald – This dynamic brother-and-sister duo hail from one of Ireland’s legendary musical families. With a showbiz pedigree and talent to match, they’re stars of their own hit show “Keith & Lorraine’s Music Hour” on Spotlight TV.
Shaun O’Dowd – We’re delighted to have Shaun back on stage! With his band Ding-A-Ling, he dominated the charts in the 70s with hits like “You Are No Angel.” A true Showband legend.
Dave Lawlor – From Tullamore, Dave’s voice is pure magic. Best known for his hit “Showband’s on Parade,” Dave’s polished performances are second to none.
The Conquerors Showband – The Galway lads are one of the greatest Showbands of all time, known for their hits like “Baby Blue.” Still packing venues everywhere they go!
