Popular Carlow folk duo, Ye Vegabonds, have been announced for the hotly anticipated Carlow Arts Festival which is due to place this coming June, and with the announcement of the popular Carlow duo, the excitement for the festival is already building.
The festival will take place from Wednesday the 4th of June till Sunday the 8th of June 2025.
The band after touring their material across Ireland, Scotland, England, around Europe, and America are set to play their homecoming show at the Festival on Saturday the 7th of June.

The group have sang praises from outlets such as Hot Press Magazine saying:
“The RTÉ Radio One Folk Awards’ most decorated act since its inception”
And the Irish Times have also said about the group:
“Both timeless and utterly of our times… [Ye Vagabonds] tap into the beating heart of the tradition”
Across three stunning albums (and with a new one on the way), Ye Vagabonds have gracefully blended traditional Irish and European music, American old time, and the sounds of the 1960’s folk revival.
Now performing as a five-piece alongside Alain McFadden (harmonium and synthesizer), Caimin Gilmore (upright bass), and Kate Ellis (cello), Carlow Arts Festival is thrilled to be hosting Ye Vagabonds’ homecoming show.
Also announced on the lineup for the festival is H.O.M.E, Ireland's first aerial Hip H'Opera act, as well as performances including An Ant Called Amy, and The Long Shadow of Alois Brunner.
