WATCH: Irish actors Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott embrace in first trailer of new romantic film

The first official trailer of a new film starring Irish actors Paul Mescal (Normal People) and Andrew Scott (Fleabag, Sherlock) has been released.

'All of Us Strangers' is loosely based on a 1980s Japanese novel called 'Strangers' by Taichi Yamada, and follows Adam (Scott) as he forms a relationship with his mysterious neighbour, Harry (Mescal) while preoccupied with memories of the past.

As their relationship develops, Adam finds himself drawn back to his childhood home where his parents (played by Claire Foy and Jamie Bell) appear to be living just as they were on the day they died 30 years prior.

The film is expected to be released in January 2024.
