VIDEO: Counting now underway at Askea Boys National School for Carlow Local Election

Boxes sorted and the count has started

Counting of votes is underway at Askea Boys National School for the Carlow Local Election.

On Saturday morning, the sorting of the ballot papers for the Local, European and Divorce Referendum took place in St Laurence O'Toole AC.

The count for the Local Election - which began shortly before 3pm - is taking place at Askea Boys National School.
