PICTURES: Carlow residents' group fights back against dumping of rubbish and needles

A Carlow residents' group is fighting back against the dumping of rubbish and needles collecting two trailer loads of waste. 

The Springfield Park Burrin Road Residents' Group said: "A big thanks to Pat Kehoe for collecting all the rubbish from our Spring Clean-Up.

"We got two trailers loads of rubbish from the roundabout at the top of the road to bottom of the road at the green box.

"That’s a lot of dumping in a small area THINK BEFORE YOU DUMP guys someone else has to pick it up again thanks to the people who came out to help and thanks to Eugene Walsh who helped us load the trailer."
