Local Carlow rugby club, Tullow RFC, is close to a decision for their planning permission on their upgrades to the facility.
They applied for the planning permission on the 31st of March 2025. A decision is set to be made by the Carlow County Council on 25th of May 2025.
The location of Tullow Rugby Club is at Castlemore, Tullow, County Carlow.

The works included in the planning application read as follows:
The construction of a new part-two storey part-single storey building to provide changing room facilities on the Ground Floor & function room to the 1st floor.
Demolition of existing single-storey changing room building.
Installation of six LED lighting poles (approximately 18 meters in height with a maximum output of 590 lux).
Upgrade of wastewater treatment system including all associated site development works.
