Kathleen Faulkner (née Sutton) - Bough, Rathvilly, Co Carlow - Monday 11th November 2024

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Kathleen Faulkner (née Sutton) of Bough, Rathvilly, County Carlow.

Kathleen passed away peacefully at St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny on the 11th of November.

Predeceased by her husband William and sons Joseph and Derek. Kathleen will be missed by her heartbroken family, sons Sean, Tommy, Billy and Michael, daughters Catherine, Mary and Bridget, her nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, her brother Pat, and sisters Theresa (Norton) and Patricia (Gorman), nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Our Condolences to the Faulkner family on the passing of your Mam.
Many's the cup of tea and the chat were had while building the house.
Mrs Faulkner was very kind and generous lady. May the Lord have mercy on her."

Another reads:

"Sincere condolences to Kathleen’s family on the death of Kathleen. A real lady, pleasure to have worked with her.
Rest in peace"

Funeral arrangements 

Reposing at her residence Bough, Rathvilly, (W93 K793) Thursday 14th November from 4pm, with removal from there on Saturday 16th November to St Patrick's Church, Rathvilly for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
