Tributes paid to Carlow woman who has a beautiful gentle soul' following her passing

Margaret Coughlan (née Lynch) - Oldtown, Clonmore, Hacketstown Co. Carlow

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Margaret Coughlan (née Lynch)of Oldtown, Clonmore, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow.

Margaret passed away peacefully in the loving care of all at the Dunlavin Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family on December 2nd 2024.

Predeceased by her loving husband James, sisters Ann and Jane, and brother Ned. Sadly missed by her loving family, Pat, Ann, Danny, Eddie and Marita, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Tributes have been paid on the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows: 

"Danny, Breda, Ericka, Finn and all the Coughlan family, deepest sympathy on the passing of your beautiful mother and grandmother. May her beautiful gentle soul Rest in Peace. You are in our thoughts and prayers."

Another reads:

"Deepest sympathies to Marita, Anne, Pat and all the Coughlan family on the passing of your mam. She was blessed with living a wonderful long life, may she rest in peace."

Funeral arrangements 

Reposing in Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Wednesday evening, 4th December from 5pm concluding at 8pm sharp. Removal from her residence on Thursday to arrive at The Church of Our Lady of the Wayside, Clonmore, for 12 noon Requiem Mass, afterwhich she will be laid to rest with James in the adjoining cemetery.
