Tributes have been paid following the passing of Patrick (Paddy) Galway of Tinryland, Carlow.
Patrick passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday the 12th of March 2025.

Predeceased by his sons Seamus and Patrick Jnr., father James, mother Jane, brother Jim, sisters Bridie and Chris. Paddy was a loving husband, father, grandad, great-grandad who will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Judy, daughters Bridget, Chrissie, Jenny, Theresa, Michelle and Linda, sons-in-law/partners, Pat Farrell, John Byrne, John McCullough, Paul Murphy, Anthony Tierney, grandchildren Martin, Craig, Fae, James, Jessica, Michael, Chloe, Jacinta, Seamus, Conor, Dylan, Corey, Josh, Cassie and Tyler and their partners, great-grandson Hayden, nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"To Judy and Chrissie and the extended Galway family we offer out deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Paddy. He was a great character. May he Rest in Peace"
Another reads:
"My deepest sympathy Michelle and family on the passing of your dear Dad. Thinking of you all at this sad time. May Paddy's gentle soul rest in peace."
Funeral Arrangements.
Reposing at his home on Wednesday, 12th March from 6.00p.m. Removal from his home on Friday, 14th March to St. Joseph's Church, Tinryland, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2.00p.m. followed by burial in adjoining cemetery,
