Borris House Festival of Writing and Ideas celebrates eleventh year
THE Borris House Festival of Writing and Ideas, which continues this weekend, is marking its eleventh year since it was first staged.
A host of intriguing international minds – historians, novelists, journalists, film-makers, poets, theatre directors, war correspondents, biographers, artists and political commentators – will gather during the festival for a weekend of stimulating dialogue and discussion.
The Borris House Festival of Writing and Ideas has become known for its languid and laid-back feel – selected as Best Literary Festival in the World 2019 by the Telegraph and Net-a-Porter.
As always at Borris, a convivial atmosphere with good conversation and engaging company is on offer, with a selection of food stands and drink stalls, a coffee hub, O'Hara’s Brewery and local homemade lemonade & elderberry.
See festivalofwritingandideas.com for details of the festival schedule and the speakers.
The festival continues this Saturday and Sunday.
