Tributes paid to former Carlow teacher who sadly died
Tributes have poured in for Tom Roche who sadly died recently from Carlow.
Tom was the beloved husband of Elizabeth, much loved father of Andrew, Peter and Thomas, adored grandfather of Lilly and Rose and cherished brother of Nick.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, granddaughters, brother, daughters-in-law Edel and Jessica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
According to RIP tributes, Tom was a former teacher at Carlow Vocational school.

Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and loved Tom, with one mourner writing,
"Sincere sympathy to Elizabeth, Andrew, Peter and Thomas, and extended family, on the sad passing of Tom. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. I remember Tom fondly from CVS, always a gentleman."
Another message said, "Our deepest condolences to Elizabeth, Peter, Andrew, Thomas, and the wider family. We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Roche – Tom. Always the gentleman, with a quick wit and a warm heart, he left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was a gifted teacher who understood his students better than most, and made each of us feel seen and valued. He also loved his tennis, a true passion that brought him great joy and reflected his energy and spirit. If a person’s worth is measured by the lives they touch, then Tom was truly a giant".
"Sincere sympathies to you Elizabeth, Andrew, Peter, Thomas and the extended Roche family on the untimely passing of Tom. He was a valued colleague over many years at Carlow Vocational School. May he rest in peace," another person said.
