RIP: 'Gorgeous lady'- Tributes paid to Carlow mother of five who sadly passed away

Tributes have poured in for a woman from Carlow who sadly passed away recently.

Catherine Doyle (née Parr) was from Conway Park, Bagenalstown in Carlow and formerly the Numbers, Graiguecullen.

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Molly Parr, brother Jimmy and granddaughter Lily.

Catherine passed away peacefully under the wonderful care of the staff of the Nore ward, St Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny.

She will be forever loved and missed by her loving husband Andy, her son Andrew, daughters Aundrea, Jenny, Louise and Lisa, grandchildren Lauren, Ava, Isaac, Bobby, Louie and Evie, sons-in-law Alan, David and Eric, daughter-in-law Shelly, and all her extended family and close friends.

Heartfelt messages have been left on RIP.ie, from those who knew and loved Catherine, with one mourner writing,

"We are deeply sorry to hear this sad news ,condolences to you all. Cathy was a gorgeous lady and always had a kind thoughtful word may she now rest in peace".

Another message said, "Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Cathy was such a lovely lady who always seemed so proud of her family. I enjoyed many years in 56 with Louise and always felt so welcomed. May her gentle soul rest in peace".

"Andy, Aundrea, Jenny, Louise, Andy junior and Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear the sad news of Cathy's passing, she was a lovely lady and would always stop for a chat, she was so kind and generous to the boys when they would call over with Aundrea, may her gentle soul rest in peace," another person said.
