Status Yellow warning lifted as Carlow people advised not to approach fallen power lines

A Status Yellow wind weather warning was in place in Carlow until 5pm on September 19

With power outages in some areas of Carlow and strong winds people are being advised to not approach any fallen power lines and to leave fallen trees until Storm Ali has passed.

A Status Yellow wind weather warning was in place in Carlow until 5pm on September 19.

Alan O'Reilly of www.carlowweather.com said: "Do not approach any fallen power lines and I would strongly advise people to leave fallen trees until Storm has passed."
