WEATHER: 'Patches of drizzle, mist and fog this morning ' Daily forecast for Carlow

Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees

Met Éireann have provided their daily weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas.

Mist and fog to still linger in Carlow with patches of drizzle coming across the county.

Looking at today's forecast for Met Éireann:

"Some mist and fog this morning then a mostly cloudy day with patches of drizzle. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees in a light northwesterly wind."

Tonight:

"Tonight will be mostly cloudy with patches of light rain or drizzle. Mist and fog will form in light and variable winds. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees."

Tomorrow:

"Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with patches of light rain or drizzle. Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds."

Friday Night:

"Outbreaks of rain will move southeast across the country on Friday night and it will become dry with some clear spells in Ulster and Connacht later. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds, becoming northwesterly as the rain clears."

An early look to Saturday:

"Cloudy with outbreaks of rain in the south and east at first on Saturday morning, clearing southeastwards and allowing for some sunny intervals for a time. Cloud will build again from the north, bringing some rain to the north and northwest. Highest afternoon temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees with light to moderate west to northwest winds."
