WEATHER: 'Dry with some sunny spells' better day on the horizon in Carlow

Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees

Met Éireann have provided their weekend weather forecast for County Carlow and surrounding areas.

With some sunny weather across the day for Carlow and dry weather as well but temperatures remain low.

Firstly looking at Met Éireann for today:

"Dry with some sunny spells today. Cold with highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees, in light to moderate north to northeast or variable winds."

Tonight:

"Dry and calm with frost likely; areas of mist or fog too. Lowest temperatures of -1 to 3 degrees."

Tomorrow:

"Dry but generally quite dull with overnight mist and fog lingering. Highest temperatures 5 to 8 degrees, in a light northeast breeze."

Wednesday Night: 

" Another calm, cold and frosty night is expected to follow with widespread fog. Lowest temperatures of -3 to 0 degrees."

An early look at Thursday:

"Once again frost will clear through the morning, and fog will linger in some areas throughout. It will be calm and rather cloudy, with some patches of light rain or drizzle at times. Cold with highest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees."

An early look to Thursday Night:

"Calm but misty or foggy in places, along with frost where skies clear. There will be some showers too. Lowest temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees."
