Garth Brooks announced the news on Instagram confirming ticket sales date

Country music superstar Garth Brooks is returning to Ireland for a massive series of concerts next summer, with 10 shows confirmed across five locations.

The legendary American singer has announced a major Irish tour for May and June 2027, marking his highly anticipated return to the country for the first time since his record breaking Croke Park concerts in 2022.

Fans across Ireland are in for a treat, with Brooks set to perform two nights in some major cities across the country, with one notable city missing.

The Friends in Low Places singer has announced shows for Belfast, Limerick, Galway, Kilkenny and Cork.

No Dublin dates have been announced, as of yet, which has lead fans to speculate on more dates being added in the future.

The announcement was officially confirmed on Thursday morning as Brooks posted to his Instagram with the caption, “IRELAND...The secret’s out. And I could NOT be happier!”

Unlike his previous Irish concerts, which were held exclusively in Dublin, the country music icon will take his spectacular live performances to venues across the country, with no Dublin dates announced.

Speaking about his upcoming return, Brooks said,

"This has been a dream of mine since the first time we played Ireland. Once you get a taste of how the Irish love music, you can't play there enough!"

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets for all ten Irish concerts will go on general sale on Thursday, November 12, at 8am through Ticketmaster.ie.

Huge demand is anticipated, with thousands of country music fans expected to try to secure tickets for the singer's long-awaited return.

Fans are advised to have their Ticketmaster accounts ready ahead of the sale.

Brooks last performed in Ireland in September 2022, when he played five sold out concerts at Dublin's Croke Park.

The historic run attracted approximately 400,000 fans and marked an emotional return for the country music legend following the controversy surrounding his cancelled concerts in 2014.

That year, Brooks had been scheduled to perform five concerts at Croke Park, but the shows were cancelled after Dublin City Council granted permission for just three performances.

All five concerts were subsequently called off, leaving hundreds of thousands of disappointed ticket holders.

Eight years later, the singer finally returned to the iconic Dublin venue, delivering five hugely successful performances.

Now, four years on, Brooks is preparing to bring his music to an even wider Irish audience.

The Oklahoma-born performer is one of the biggest-selling music artists in American history, with more than 200 million albums sold in the United States.

Known for hits including Friends in Low Places, The Dance, If Tomorrow Never Comes and The Thunder Rolls, Brooks has enjoyed a career spanning more than three decades.

His upcoming Irish tour is expected to be one of the biggest live music events of summer 2027.
