The Carlow contestant on the Traitors Ireland, Sean C, has survived another night in the castle

Carlow contestant on The Traitors Ireland. Sean C, has survived another night in the castle after being described as “brilliant” at the breakfast table.

After a devious murder the night before, Sean C was the last to enter the breakfast room, leaving the fellow contestants wondering who was killed.

While waiting for him, the other players applauded him, saying “he’s brilliant,” before whooping and clapping as he entered the room.

Sean C’s entrance made it clear Laura had been killed the night before.

After breakfast, Siobhán McSweeney let the players know that their next mission involved tight spaces.

The group were brought to a pre-dug grave, where a coffin could be seen.

Sam was chosen as the most trustworthy player, meaning he was the seeker in the game of Hide and Seek.

€500 would be added to the prize pot for each player found.

Sam found Sean C first, meaning he could help decide which other players should be found and granted immunity from the next bannishing.

“I hear scuttling feet, and before I know it there’s light on my face,” Sean C said about being discovered.

He then gets to help Sam with the mission.

Diego, Janet, Paraic O, Denis, Carla, and Peter were all saved, leaving the remaining players at risk of being banished.

Sean C highlighted during the game that he was suspicious of David and Donal.

Because not all players could be saved and given immunity, Sean C felt as though something positive had to happen.

“We have to secure this money. We have to give them a silver lining,” he said as they battled with the clock to get back to base.

With just 16 seconds remaining, Sam and the saved people were able to secure another €4,000 for the prize pot.

Later at the round table, the high spirits were dampened and even more drama unfolded as the group voted for who to banish.

The majority of eyes were on Sean A, although Donal did receive a few votes too.

“Yesterday, we followed the breadcrumbs; we got Edel out. I’m really hoping she was our Gretel and you are our Hansel,” Sean C said to Sean A.

Ultimately, Sean A was voted out, revealing himself as a fellow faithful.

The end of the episode saw the three remaining traitors meet to discuss murder, with no mention of Sean C, leading viewers to believe he is safe.

They decided on a “soft kill” last night, but to find out who it was, tune into RTÉ on Sunday night at 9:30pm.
