Monsters of Rock charity event set to take place in Carlow
A Monsters of Rock event in honour of Vinnie White and in aid of Carlow County Hospicve will take place this weekend
It’s in aid of the Carlow County Hospice and will celebrate the life of Vinnie White, a “legend of the rock scene.”
‘Monsters of Rock 4’ will get underway on Saturday, September 5th at 8:30pm.
It will be held in Ewings Bar in Carlow Town.
“You will not only have the chance to see the usual gang of local rock musicians play, they will be joined by some very special guests playing on the night,” a post on Facebook advertising the event states.
“Picture it in your mind’s eye… call it fate, kismet, destiny… whatever… it will be epic! So, mark your calendars and watch this space!” it continued.
Admission is €5 on the door and can be paid via cash or card.
All funds raised will go to the Carlow County Hospice, which is a charity that aims to promote the “highest care possible for people with advanced terminal illness,” while providing help and support to their families and loved ones.
