Two 'special' Halloween movie nights taking place in Carlow for Samhain

Two Halloween movie nights will take place in Carlow Town Hall next week as part of Samhain Festival
Carlow County Council is hosting two Halloween movie nights as part of the ongoing Samhain Festival next week.
Taking place in the Town Hall on Wednesday and Thursday, the event promises to be “fun” and “family-friendly.”
“Come along to enjoy festive favourites inside the historic Carlow Town Hall while the festival takes over the town,” Carlow Councillor Fintan Phelan said in a post on Facebook.
Hotel Transylvania will be shown between 6:30pm and 8:30pm on Wednesday, while Hocus Pocus will be shown between the same times on Thursday.
Tickets are limited, so booking in advance is required.
They are €5 per person or €15 for a family of four.
“Whether you are joining Dracula and his monster friends or the mischievous Sanderson Sisters, these movie nights offer a safe, welcoming, and fun-filled way for families to celebrate the season together,” Cllr Phelan added.
The movie nights are taking place as part of the Samhain Festival, which runs from October 22nd to November 1st.
They’re brought by Active Carlow and the Carlow Local Community Safety Partnership.
Booking is essential and can be done via Tickettailor.
Several other events, such as a kids cooking class, a clay monster workshop, and Ghosts in the Gardens, are taking place across a number of locations in Carlow.
